I started writing a 1st person pov earlier in the week for this, because I am not used to writing in the 1st person pov and I figured I would need all of the time I could get. However, that story became much too long and I wanted to keep going with it, so I started over and came up with a completely new story for this submission. I must admit that I really loved witing for this challenge!
I wrote this a while ago, and not in response to the challenge. Thought I’d toss it in anyway, as a non-judgeable entry.
Tiel – I could not get to your story via the link on here – maybe it was just me – but I thought I’d let you know
I wrote a sequel to Settler’s Woes, because I decided one of the characters from that story would totally want to set his profoundly profound thoughts down for posterity XD
It’s been a couple of weeks, but I’m back!
You sure are! That was a purty neat story, there, Stormy.
Thanks, Kate. I’ll make my rounds on everyone’s stories throughout the week. It turns out that becoming a new homeowner makes for a very busy life.
Gave it a go – hope you like it
Not the story I’d hoped to submit, but having issues editing it so going to keep chipping away at that over the next couple of weeks. Instead cleaned up another story I’ve been working on. Hope that’s ok.
Hi everyone — here is my submission for 1st person narrator challenge — enjoy!
I drew my inspiration from the traditions of today – Mothering Sunday. enjoy!
1st person is my usual form so I still wanted a challenge and tried telling it from a male MC’s POV. Hopefully I did him justice. Enjoy.
Weird: Mr. Linky mutilated the link. I wonder why? Here it is again: http://knockingfrominside.blogspot.com/2011/10/midnight-at-normandale.html
